Sausage and Broccoli Noodle Casserole

A tasty variation on fettucini alfredo. The original recipe called for diced red peppers but I have never included them since kids didn't like them when they were little.


16 ounce jar alfredo sauce

1/3 cup milk

1 pound sweet Italian sausage, cooked & crumbled

1 head of broccoli

8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and drained

1 cup shredded cheddar

½ cup red pepper, chopped



Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine alfredo sauce and milk. Stir in sausage, broccoli, noodles, ¾ cup cheese and peppers. Evenly spread mixture in a 13 x 9 baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 30 minutes.
