Charcuterie Board

This one of my favorites right now! It's not a traditional charcuterie board because of all the things I add but it is so much fun to make!

Meat – a variety of cured meats with different flavors like pepperoni, salami, summer sausage, ham, prosciutto

Cheese– Choose a variety of cheeses. Mix soft and hard cheeses, along with sharper and more mild cheese.

Crackers – Mix a variety of different crackers or even pretzel crisps or pita chips.

Dips- Ranch dressing, spinach dip, cheese dip, etc.

Fruit - grapes, apples, berries. Use what’s in season! Dried fruits are good too. (Strawberries can stain your wood board but people like them.)

Nuts – mixed nuts, almonds, etc. I like the sunflower seeds but they don’t make for good finger food.

Veggies – carrots, cherry tomatoes or cucumbers, radishes, broccoli, cauliflower, bell pepper strips

Pickles and Olives – Pickles (sweet and dill) are always a big hit. Olives have a good addition as well.

I got a large bamboo cutting board at the grocery and it has worked well. You’ll also need a few small bowls for dips, pickles, olives, nuts, etc. Place the bowls randomly around the board. Start by layering different items around the bases of the bowls. Continue adding things until the whole board is covered. I also like to make sure there are variety of colors throughout the board. Fill your bowls and serve.
