My family has been making these for as long as I can remember. Not sure where my mom got the original recipe but they are always a hit. We have always put poppy seeds on the salami filled biscuits & sesame seeds on the cream cheese filled biscuits. Sometimes my mom likes to switch it up a little but the rest of us are set in our ways and like to know what's in our biscuit.

4 tubes 10 count buttermilk biscuits (These are hard to find. Can substitute Grands
but only need 2-3 tubes
1 inch think chunk hard salami, order from the deli (they have to cut it by hand)
8 ounce block of cream cheese, cut into ¼ inch pieces
Egg white
Poppy seeds
Sesame seeds
Preheat oven according to biscuit package directions. Cut chunk of hard salami into ¼ inch sticks. Take tubes of biscuits out of the refrigerator one at a time as need so the biscuits don’t get too warm. Tear each biscuit in half (if using Grands biscuits, tear them in fourths.). Place salami or cream cheese piece on each biscuit half. Wrap biscuit half around salami or cream cheese and seal shut. Dip top in egg white. Then dip salami filled biscuit in poppy seeds and cream cheese filled biscuit in sesame seeds. Place on cookie sheet about an inch apart and bake per biscuit package directions. Repeat until all the biscuits are used.
