Even though our lives are not normal right now, tomorrow is still a Friday during Lent. So here's a classic! I know this is a back to the basics recipe but there are so many ways to mix it up. Try adding a package of cheese tortellini to the soup. Or add shredded cheese and crunched up tortilla chips. As far as the grilled cheese, the options are limitless…try a different type of bread like crusty French bread. There are so many types of cheeses available. One of our favorites is smoked Gouda with some bacon added.

Sliced bread Sliced cheese Butter 1 -2 cans Campbell’s Tomato Soup milk Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place half of the bread, butter side down in a frying pan or electric skillet. Add 1 – 2 slices of cheese on the bread. Top with the other half of the bread slices, butter side out. Toast sandwiches on each side for 2 – 3 minutes or until cheese is melted and sandwich is lightly browned. While sandwiches are cooking, pour tomato soup and milk in a medium sauce pan. Cook according to directions on soup can.
